As the mariyaan movie is all at its releasing phase the kolaveri boy dhanush seems getting busy with its promotion . With the recent release in Bollywood ranjhana (debut of dhanuh in bollywood) which proved to be hit at box office and he has received a warm welcome from the north audiences to Bollywood. Ranjhana did well with the collection on the first week end, with Sonam kapoor playing the love interest.

Mariyaan as the term in English mean "The Immortral". Mariyaan movie is latest project of director bharath bala. With the way the cast is teamed up it  seems there is something real and big that can be expected from the movie. With great trio's (A.R.Rahman, Bharath bala, Dhanush) coming to gather for this most anticipated project. From the official trailer release it seems mariyaan movie is going to to be a action thriller . The movie is said to be based on a newspaper article that took place in real where three oil workers were kidnapped and taken as hostages to Sudan by Sudani mercenaries. The movie is going to be on a journey of a common man's survival and hope of returning back to his loved one back in his hometown. Its definitely going to have some emotional touch in it. With parvathy menon playing opposite to Dhanush is also very excited about the movie.
