Yeh Jawaani Hai deewani Collection is raking a new high:
Seems like deepika padukone whose recent two big success "Race 2" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani's" collection crossed the 100 crores mark at box office but the actress does not seem to be the one who is behind achieving the 100 crores mark with her movies.
This year deepika's "Race 2" did a great job with crossing 100 cr mark and next to it deepika and her ex boyfriend Ranbir kapoor starer "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" proved to be a massive hit at the box office. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani's box office collection for the opening week was Rs.100 cr. And this was the first movie ever in Bollywood to reach 100 cr in the opening week.
Deepika stated that it really feels great when your movies are doing good at box office and people praise you for your character you carry in the movie. This is a bonus when along with the success of the movie you get praised for being honest with your character. I do give more importance to 100 cr club but I also consistently give more importance to my work and I want to continue working on good and better projects, She also stated that what if the bad movies does a good collection?? I feel that all good movies should be given credit and must do well.
She also stated that when moves like "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Barfi" does good at box office it really feels nice. The success of the movie should not be categorized that the movie did well only for the action or the movie did good because it has good masala event in the movie, every good film will definitely do a good business.
Cocktail, Race 2 , Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani are the last three movies of the actress and all three have done very decent job at the box office, But deepika did not give much importance to its box office collection rather she felt that movies did a very good business since they were good movies.
It really gets difficult for an actor to be selective with the movies once they are established in the industry since the fans expect more from them, but this is not the case for deepika she says that any script that she feels excited she works on that script I only do movies that I feel I will enjoy doing it.
Deepika started her Bollywood debut with Shahrukh khan for the movie Om Shanthi Om, this movie was directed by Farah khan and proved to be a blockbuster at the box office . This was just the begging for deepikas career later she did 'Bachna a haseeno', 'Chandni Chok to China', Love aaj kal', 'Houesefull', 'Karthik calling karthik', 'Khele hum jee jaan se', Arakshan', 'Cocktail', 'Race 2', and the latest one 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. Among these most of the movie's did very good at the box office .
The latest expectation of the actress is Rohit shettty's Shahrukh khan starer 'Chennai Express' which is to be released later this Eid . She will also seen in Sanjay leela bhansali's "Ram Leela" which is to be released by the end of this year 2013.
